Time: 7pm (may comprise of one or more heats)
Dates: Wednesdays from January 7th to February 26,
Round 1: January 7th, 14th, 21st
Round 2: January 28th, Feb 4th
Round 3: Feb 11
Round 4: Feb 18
Finals: Feb 25th
FAQ
What qualifies as sketch comedy?
We try to cast a wide net including traditional scripted sketch comedy troupes, solo sketch, musical comedy, clown….even dance if you can make it funny.
This is not a competition for standup or improv.
How much does it cost to apply?
FREE!
Does everyone who applies get in?
Generally, yes! At least until all available slots are filled.
Can I compete in more than one troupe?
Yes! Performers are welcome to apply as part of a troupe and a solo act, or as more than one troupe. However, as our goal is to allow as many performers as possible to participate, if we have more applicants than available spaces, priority will be given to troupes where that isn’t the case.
What if one of our troupe mates can’t make a performance?
Not all troupe members are required in order to perform. Substitutions are also allowed, so long as they are not competing in the same heat as you.
